Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to recieve my envelopes?
We aim to deliver envelopes within 48hrs of recieving an order conformation. Printed envelopes will take longer.
Is there a minimum amount of envelopes I can order?
Yes, our envelopes are boxed in quantities. Please see below the minimum quantities per envelope type:
- DL - 1000 envelopes
- C5 - 500 envelopes
- C4 - 250 envelopes
What if I am unhappy with my envelopes?
We are happy to supply a sample of our envelopes and we would always send a proof to you if you requested printed envelopes. Obviously if there is a genuine fault with either the envelope or the printing we would replace the free of charge.
What’s the difference between a Wallet and a Pocket?
A wallet has the flap on the long edge of the envelope. All our gummed wallets are suitable for mechanised mailing machines.
A pocket has the flap on the short edge of the envelope. Our Pockets are either self seal or peal and seal.
How long does self seal last before it dries up?
Manufacturers only guarantee the latex for six months. As long as the envelopes are stored in a dry place without heat extremities they should last for at least a year. Peal & Seal has an extended shelf life.
Are there any limits to what I can print on an envelope?
A few simple rules to follow:
- Avoid printing near the window
- On four colour printing leave a 10mm grip edge along the top at the envelope.
How do I pay?
On receipt of your order or in the case of printed envelopes your art work we will prepare a proof for you to check and send you a pro forma invoice. When we have received your approval and payment we will proceed with your order.
